Reflection

I felt that doing this blog I learned a lot and I have discovered much more than what I had already knew about basketball and the NBA. This blog has helped me show people what players are better than which and which teams are better than others. While doing this blog there have been some difficult things I ran into and also easy things I ran into. Some of the hard things I ran into were Find players and teams stats and adding them together to find totals. Also comparing players and teams stats against each other to see which team or player is better. It was hard for me to choose topics to write about. The easy things I did while doing this blog were finding appropriate videos and pictures that went a log with my blogs. While doing this blog I learned that blogging is a good way to tell people about something you might still need to research or check to make sure you are correct. I learned from this in many ways. I learned how to put a video on to a blog and also add a picture to a blog. I also learned how to blog about a certain topic in many different ways. I learned that if you really take the time to look into a topic you really like you can learn a lot about that topic. You might even find stuff out that you did not know before doing your blog. A blog is an interesting thing to do you get to talk about what ever you want and learn about what ever you want. And for once you get to choose something you actually like to talk about. I thought this whole experience was good for me because I learned how to do many things that will most likely help me later on in my life. Blogging can help you in many ways. It can help you by getting constructive feed back from people to help you blog about stuff and help you learn things you might not of know before that. This also helps you with being able to express your feelings and talk about something really deep in content. Blogs are very good for explaining things and teaching people about things. Blogs are used to inform people and teach people about something they may not know much about. It could also be used to help someone figure something out about a specific topic. Blogs can be fun or annoying they should be fun because you are suppose to be blogging about something you like to talk about or something you like to do. A blog is meant to be a topic you can get people to respond to and talk back to you about your blog. When blogging you should be taking in the responses you get from viewers. Then use their suggestions to make your blog more interesting to people. I think this blog has been a great experience and everyone should try it!

Larry Bird

This blog will be about Larry Bird one of the all time greats basketball has ever seen. Larry Bird was a great basketball player he played with his heart and played for the love of the game. Larry Bird was a great outside shooter. Larry Bird played for the Celtics he helped lead them to many championships. I will show you Larry Birds stats from his whole career. I will show you how many points he scored how many assists and how many steals he had. First I will start with how many points he scored in his career. Larry Bird scored a total of 21,791 points in his whole career. This is a very high amount of points to score in your career. Larry Bird played for a total of 13 years in the NBA. In those 13 years he changed the game of basketball a lot. He set records he broke records and he destroyed records. Larry Bird was in the NBA from 1979 to 1992. Now I will show you Larry Birds total amount of assist he had while in the NBA. Larry Bird had a total of 5,695 assists in his career. This proves that Larry Bird is not a ball hog he likes to pass and share the ball with his team and still score a lot of points. Alright now I will show you how many steals Larry Bird had in his whole career. Larry Bird had a total of 1,556 steals in his whole career. This proves that Larry Bird was a very good defender also not only just a great offence guy.

Scottie Pippen with Michael Jordan

Scottie Pippen played in the NBA with Michael Jordan and also with out him. I am going to compare his stats from when he played with Michael and when he did not. I will see if he did better when he was with Michael or with out. I will also see if he won more championships with him or without. I will compare his points and his assists and how many wins and losses he had while playing with Jordan and without Jordan. First I will compare his points. Scottie Pippen scored an average of 1,340 points per season while playing with Michael Jordan. Scottie Pippen scored an average of 791 points per season when he played without Michael Jordan. This proves that Michael Jordan helped Scottie Pippen a lot and helped him score more than he did when he played without Michael Jordan. Now I will see if he got more assists while playing with Jordan or without Jordan. When Scottie Pippen played with Michael he average a total of 401 assists per season while playing with Jordan. Now when he played without Jordan he averaged a total of 313 assists per season while playing without Jordan. This also proves that Scottie Pippen did better while playing with Jordan than without him. His stats prove so far that he had more assists and more points while playing with Jordan. Now I will see if Scottie Pippen won more games with or without Jordan on his team. Scottie Pippen won an average of 62 games a season while he played with Michael Jordan. Scottie Pippen won an average of 34 games a season when he played without Michael Jordan. This once again proves that he did better while he played with Michael Jordan then without Michael Jordan. Now I will compare Scottie Pippens losses while playing with Michael Jordan and without Michael Jordan. Scottie Pippen averaged a total of 27 losses a season while playing with Michael Jordan. Scottie Pippen averaged a total of 20 losses a season while playing without Michael Jordan. So I guess he lost less games while playing without Michael but also won more games while playing with Jordan. In the end he had three things with better stats while playing with Jordan than without Jordan. This proves that he had better seasons while playing with Michael Jordan than without.

NBA history

The NBA has been around for many many years. It has been around for 63 years. The NBA is watched all around the United States. Basketball is a big sport in the US. Many people play it from ages 7 to 50 years old. Many people love the sport either they watch it or they play it. There have been many great players in the NBA. Players now make a lot of money for playing basketball. In the game of basketball people try to score baskets and play defense to try to beat each other. Many players have been in the NBA and many have been dreaming of making the NBA. Many kids dream of being a pro basketball player and many other pro sports athletes. Some people make the pros many don't but that's why the pros get paid so much because they are the best at what they do. The NBA has had over 1 million players go through the NBA. In the NBA many people make it but not all of them will play many will sit on the bench unless the starter they are behind gets injured. A player usually gets a contract for a team and they get paid each year. Then many players get a thing where if they get a certain amount of points in a season they get paid extra. Many players are drafted right out of college. Players usually stay in the league from any where around 7 to 12 years. The past year they changed the rule of drafting kids right out of high school. They have designed that kids that young will only make bad choices with all the money they make. Many Players in the NBA are around the age of 19 to 36. The NBA has been around for many years and there have been many championships. there is one team that has won the most championships that is the Celtics. The Celtics have a total of 17 wins. And in second place are the LA Lakers with 15 wins.

Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan is one of the best players to ever be in the NBA if not the best. But that's my opinion I want to know what you think. Also I will find his stats and show you exactly how good he was while in the NBA. MJ scored a total of 32,292 points during his career with both the Bulls and the Wizards. He played from 1984 to 2003 he dominated the league and play for the fun of the game not the money. Now many players are playing for the money and not the joy of the game. The game of basketball has changed so much but also at the same time it has changed very little. Now I will show you how many assists Michael Jordan had in his whole career. He had a total of 5,633 assists in his career. Michael Jordan was not a selfish ball hog he liked to share the ball and pass to open players. The players today like to take the ball them selves and try to score and not pass. When a player does this their team almost always looses. Now steals are a big part of basketball also. Michael had many steal in his career also. He had a total of 2,514 steals while in the NBA. One other thing people like to know is how many blocks a player has in their career. Michael Jordan had a total of 893 blocks from 1984 to 2003. Blocks are cool to see but when you get stuffed it is not that cool. But everybody gets stuffed or stuffs someone ones in their life. Michael Jordan has won many championships. He has won a total of 6 NBA championships this shows that he is truly great and works well with his team. Bulls Vs. Celtics

Who is better the Bulls or the Celtics? I think the Celtics are better but many people may disagree but I am going to compare the teams stats. I will compare wins loses and who has won more times against one another. Alright first I am going to compare who has more wins. The Celtics have a total of 2038 wins from 1966 to 2009. The Bulls had a total of 1777 wins from 1966 to 2009. Well the Celtics win that one with a total of 2038 wins beating the Bulls by 261 wins. Alright next I will compare the Bulls and Celtics losses. If the Bulls win this one it will come down to which team has beat the other team more times. Alright the Bulls has a total of 1716 losses from 1966 till 2009. The Celtics had a total of 1455 losses from 1966 to 2009. Alright so the Celtics win that one to. Now I will compare wins and losses against each other. Right now it is 2 to 0 the Celtics are up even though this will not matter for who wins because the Celtics already have won I am just curious about who has beat who more times. Okay so the Bulls have beat the Celtics 86 times. The Celtics have beat the Bulls 109 times. So I guess the Celtics have won this one also. So the Celtics have won the whole match up the Celtics have won in most wins, least losses, and most wins against the Bulls. My next blog will be about Michael Jordan and how amazing he is.
